Peyton is the President of Gel Blaster, Inc., as well as the head of its Legal and Operations departments. Gel Blaster is the new leader in the toy blaster category, aiming to get kids off their devices, and back into the backyard having fun.
As an attorney since 2005, Peyton has engaged with start-up ventures and established companies as an outside general counsel, protecting their vital interests, when necessary, through commercial litigation and trial. In a 2017 jury trial, Peyton was lead counsel for two businesses that resulted in a $98 million judgment, the 22nd largest verdict in the United States that year.
In 2021, Peyton was appointed Lead Class Action Counsel in connection with the HIMMS tradeshow litigation, whereby tradeshow exhibitors obtained monetary and non-monetary relief aggregating to more than $10 million.
Peyton has been certified by Berkeley Law and the National Venture Capital Association in venture finance.
As an attorney, and now as the President of Gel Blaster, Peyton guides visionary brands in the emerging technologies space, including drones (hardware and drones-as-a-service) next-generation watersports, educational robotics, and wellness technologies.
Peyton has successfully represented clients before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and before the Dallas Court of Appeals. Peyton is admitted to practice before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, all federal district courts throughout Texas, and the courts of the State of Texas.
